On the eve of starting my 5th Susan G. Komen 60-mile 3-Day Walk to fight breast cancer, I thought this would be a great time to mention some interesting results reported in the literature with regards to breast cancer and diet:
You may have tried to lose weight at one time or another, many of us have. How did it go? Did you reach your goal weight? If not, were you able to lose at least some weight? And then, were you able to keep the weight off or did it come back (possibly even with a vengeance)?
Yesterday I spent my birthday in beautiful San Diego doing a 16-mile training walk along the coast. In less than two weeks I will be walking in my 5th Susan G. Komen 60-mile 3-Day Walk. I've taken a stand against breast cancer because it's such an unnecessary disease (as are so many others) and too many lives have been ruined by it!
